Ulrika is returning to Peru for a sixth time to share the magic splendor of Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. We spend the first two days in Cusco visiting the sacred Inca sites and humble our minds with ancient knowledge and history explained by our native guide. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Andes, the town of Cusco was once the capital of the Inca Empire. Here at 11,000 feet the power of sacred geometry, connection to cosmos and mystery is palpable.
After spending two days and two nights in Cusco, we travel onward to the Sacred Valley which will be our home base for the rest of our stay; we share morning yoga practice and travel the valley to hike among sacred sites, participate in ceremonies and rituals led by Andean elders, and have the opportunity to participate in a sweat lodge and cold plunging to refresh and renew. By blending Andean rituals and ceremonies with daily yoga and meditation walks in crystal gardens our journey is internally as powerful as the vistas and sites explored while traveling together in Peru.
The Sacred Valley at 8,000 feet feed the Andean people with superfoods and grains. The Inca was mainly vegan with a sophisticated understanding of which wild plants to eat for energy and stamina. The fusion of flavors and colors still inspire the most delicious vegetarian meals which we’ll enjoy to fuel our body, mind and spirit.
Towards the end of our journey we spend two days at Machu Picchu, considered the most sacred of all Inca Sites. At the crack of dawn we hike the peak of Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu and pay visit to the Sun Gate. We spend the night in Aguas Calientes to be able to enjoy two splendid days at Machu Picchu and a festive dinner at one of the friendliest places in town. All is effortlessly organized to bring everyone on an awe inspiring journey of mystery and wonder.

FLIGHT INFO: Book your flights via Lima to Cusco, Peru. Plan on arriving with a morning flight by 11 am on Oct 16th, 2027 to have time to adjust to altitude and rest OR ideally arrive a day or two before the journey begins. The itinerary begins at 3 pm on October 16th. Check out by 10 am on October 25th, 2027. Book departure in the later afternoon. Airport transfer is included on arrival day October 16th and one group transfer is included at 10 am on departure day, October 25th.
