We begin on land in the countryside of Luxor with a weekend at a private, traditional guest house to enter the current Egyptian culture. Accompanied by our Egyptologist our journey is kicked off with an evening lit up show at the Karnak temple, then touring the sacred sites around Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. After two days of walking like an Egyptian in Luxor we board our private deluxe dahabiya and set sail to glide slowly and peacefully down the River Nile.

The voyage onboard our dahabiya from Luxor to Aswan is guided by our Egyptologist who has uniquely crafted an itinerary visiting cultural sites of ancient beauty on the shores of the Nile. A fabulous crew of fifteen cater our experience, prepare our meals, ensuring comfort and ease along the Nile. The river flows slowly and it’s a gentle, scenic ride all the way.
Mixing the elements of ancient Egyptian history, vibrant cultural experiences and exotic cuisine our journey comes alive with excellent guides and yoga guided by Ulrika. We visit temples of the Egyptian Gods, hike to tombs and hieroglyphs carved into the mountains, visit thriving merchant towns filled with exotic goods, spend a quiet and devotional day floating down the river, walk a trail in the desert to a hidden ancient site, partake in a tea and water pipe ritual, anchor by islands for a swim and enjoy nights on the water beneath the starry desert sky.
Removed from the rush and crowds of typical tours, you will find yourself traveling to Egypt’s finest destinations at our own leisurely pace. The atmosphere onboard is sublimely exotic and mesmerizing. We practice yoga in the shade on top deck at sunrise. Comfortable accommodations, chic decor and top service make the journey restful day and night. All meals, authentic Egyptian, fresh cuisine from farmer’s markets and fishermen, snacks and non alcoholic drinks are all included and served with delight.
We end our seven night journey in Aswan. At this point you can choose to add a couple of nights to visit the famous Nubian village or go on a day trip to Abu Simbel before flying back via Aswan to Cairo and back home. Our guides are happy to help assist with making travel arrangements and transportation at extra cost.
ITINERARY INCLUDES: 7 night accommodations, (two nights at a private guest house and 5 nights on deluxe private dahabiya reserved for our group only, no outside guests) daily yoga, breakfast, lunch, snacks, non alcoholic drinks and dinner onboard our private boat, breakfast and dinner both nights at the guest house in Luxor, airport pick up and transfer to our guesthouse on arrival day, private chef onboard our boat and expert Egyptologist guide on land, evening show at the Karnak temple , crew of fifteen onboard our PRIVATELY CHARTERED boat, entry fees to sacred sites included in our itinerary, tourist and hotel taxes.
AIRFARE / ROUTE: Fly into Cairo International airport. Plan on spending a night or two in Cairo to kick jet lag and add a visit to the pyramids in Giza before the journey. Book your one hour flight to Luxor with arrival on March 13th, 2027. Depart from Aswan airport – Cairo in the afternoon or evening of March 13th, 2027 unless you plan on extending your stay.
COST: $5,750* per person / double occupancy all inclusive. *There are two river suites with panoramic windows available for upgrade for an extra $1,500 per person.
