One moment on the YOGA JOURNEY in CUBA ?? last year soaring over open fields…taking in and feeling history present in present time. Every place has it’s darkness and light. What I was surprised to learn was no pesticides or GMO have been introduced to the land in Cuba, therefor all produce is ORGANIC… like the land used to be. No one goes hungry and like in most Central and South American countries music and dance is life. There wasn’t one meal without being serenaded by live music, either someone in the kitchen picking up a guitar, grandpa waking up from a nap singing us a song or a small trio of musicians coming out of nowhere to entertain just for the fun of it. I’m bringing back the spirit of Cuba today in my feet and hips before yoga.
