New Year’s Yoga Journey

Begin 2026 on a private island and in the rainforest of Belize…

In Belize is where it all started for me – where I led the first international Yoga Journey in 1999! Coming full circle I’m excited to return to reset intentions and set actions in motion for 2026 – consciously choosing to show up for moments, places and practices that create positive momentum in life.

We begin with four nights on a private island, two miles from the Belize Barrier Reef followed by three nights at a luxury lodge in the rainforest of the Maya mountains.

Bookmark this week to greet each sunrise and sunset practicing yoga in an over water palapa and waking up with yoga to a cacophony of hauling howler monkeys and birdsong in the rainforest.

Choose to stay in an over water bungalow or a sea front beach casita island style. In the rainforest, enjoy a spacious jungle suite among the treetops.

Our island days consist of yoga, snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, seaside massages, stargazing al fresco meals and an evening of drumming and “punta dancing” with the local Garifuna villagers.

Combining simple indoor outdoor living with natural beauty and a commitment to improving the environment, our retreat help fund the local organic farm initiatives as well as help the local Garifuna community develop sustainable living.

On transfer day to the rainforest we’ll stop at an ancient Maya site to mark the transition into the Maya Mountains.

At our luxury eco lodge we’ll practice yoga with hauler monkeys, scarlet macaws and hummingbirds, kayak along the Rio Grande, make chocolate from bean to bar and enjoy meals from garden to table. All inclusive, organic farm to table meals nourish body and soul, igniting imagination, connection and conversation.

Here we experience being part of a thriving eco system and farm that is vibrantly alive, inspired to live life to the fullest.

AIRFARE: Best route and price via Houston or LAX to Belize City.

Round trip domestic flights within Belize, round trip boat transfer to and from the island and ground transfers are included in the retreat fee, booked an organized for you.

COST: This journey is all inclusive of meals, accommodations, two domestic flights in Belize, airport transfers, round trip boat transfer, non-alcoholic and alcoholic local drinks, taxes, donations and gratuities.

$4,850 per person / double occupancy over water bungalow 4 nights and jungle suite 3 nights.

Single occupancy upgrade is extremely limited $2,000 upgrade. Only two available.
