May I tempt you to join me in Sweden this summer? A great group of travelers is already formed, five spaces open as of today!
Midsummer is the best time to be in Sweden as the midnight sun lights up the sky day and night. The over 20,000 islands in the Stockholm archipelago become vibrantly alive with sailboats, saunas and the typical hot and cold plunges. I grew up in Stockholm and will take you along to cool local spots in town before embarking on a three night outing to my favorite island in the archipelago. This journey will entice your taste buds to Scandinavian delicacies and enrich you with culture, history and many memorable, uniquely Swedish moments. Join us!
We’ll spend the first three nights in Stockholm at a family owned deluxe hotel in the hippest area of town, walking distance to everything, and with the absolute best spread “smörgåsbord” breakfast / brunch. We start the days at a famous culture historic spa with yoga led by yours truly. Spa day passes are also included for daily rejuvenation, full use of Turkish baths, steam rooms, sauna and pool. After yoga and breakfast / brunch the day is open to explore the highlights of Stockholm and later dine in town. I have a walking map marked with itineraries to choose from and places to meet up.
On day four we journey via ferry among the islands in the Stockholm archipelago and settle in at our Yacht hotel to enjoy a summer vacation like a true Swede. We’ll enjoy Yoga twice a day and have ample time to absorb the beauty and serenity of the island or choose among the many scenic walking paths, rent kayaks, e-bikes and go island hopping. Our journey concludes with a festive farewell dinner under the midnight sun.
COST: $2,775 per person / double occupancy. Six nights of fun in the midnight sun including deluxe accommodations, spa passes, daily brunch and yoga, insider excursions with Ulrika, a festive farewell dinner, ferry rides, taxes, gratuity. Jump in with a $1,000 deposit!
